What started as just me, myself and I in a small rented kitchen in Les Corts has grown into something I feel incredibly lucky to call my business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, The Board Barcelona\u00ae has its own professional shop and kitchen, a small but mighty team, and relationships with the same wonderful market suppliers who have been with us since the beginning. Watching this little business grow, year after year – with most months seeing growth of 50\u2013100% – has been a journey I could never have imagined when I first started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so, before anything else: thank you. For every order, recommendation, lovely review and occasion you\u2019ve trusted us to be part of. All of this exists because of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding our place<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we\u2019ve grown, we\u2019ve also been finding our way and learning what works for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re not quite a traditional catering company. We\u2019re not a standard bar\/restaurant, and we\u2019re not an events company either. We sit somewhere in that beautiful space between the three, bringing together good food, thoughtful presentation and the details that make a gathering feel special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three ways you can work with us – ordering online, catering, and Bespoke(our custom creative studio) – have helped us find our particular place in Barcelona. And the glowing feedback we receive from our clients makes me feel that we\u2019re building something worth taking care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of taking care of it means recognising when something needs to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 48 hours to five days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our online ordering calendar has now changed from a minimum of 48 hours\u2019 notice to five calendar days before delivery or collection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to explain personally why we\u2019ve made this decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind every board is a lot of planning: purchasing fresh ingredients, organizing our team\u2019s shifts, preparing each product, coordinating deliveries and making sure everything has its place in the refrigerator. And, as much as I sometimes wish otherwise, our refrigerator is only so big!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team and refrigeration capacity have grown, allowing us to prepare catering for events with hundreds of guests. But with that growth comes a greater need to plan carefully around the space, people and time we have available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why five days?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every order is prepared especially for your occasion, with fresh ingredients, thoughtful presentation and careful coordination from our kitchen to your table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind it all is our small but mighty team. As demand for our boards and events continues to grow, a little more advance notice helps us plan carefully and give every order the time, care and attention to detail it deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extending our online ordering window also allows us to coordinate fresh ingredient purchases, minimise food waste and organise deliveries, while maintaining the quality and personal service you know us for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more notice you can give us, the better<\/strong>, especially for larger orders, special requests and popular dates. Five days is the minimum notice for online orders; availability is always subject to existing bookings, so we recommend reserving your date as early as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if you need something sooner?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re always welcome to ask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need an order within five days, email info@theboardbarcelona.com<\/a><\/strong> with the date, the products and quantities you\u2019d like, and whether you need delivery or collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes we have the ingredients and team availability to help. Other times, we\u2019re already at capacity. It really depends on what we\u2019re preparing that week, so shorter-notice and last-minute orders are never guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please also understand that we can\u2019t always answer the phone or respond to emails and WhatsApp messages immediately. We may be in the kitchen, setting up an event or helping another client. If you don\u2019t hear back in time, it may simply mean we haven\u2019t been able to get to your request before you need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll always do our best to help, but please wait for our team to confirm availability and the next steps. Sending an enquiry doesn\u2019t confirm an order or reserve a date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
