A few weeks ago, we had a very special visit at The Board Barcelona®. The team from Betevé, led by Bea Rodríguez, came to our space, interested in seeing how we create our Grazing Boards (Cheese and Charcuterie boards) and to experience firsthand the philosophy that guides everything we do: that hosting at home can be simple, beautiful, and memorable.
From the very beginning, we wanted to show them that our boards are more than just an appetizer – they are a full sensory experience. As we laid out the cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal fruits, and small decorative touches, we shared our mantra: “You eat first with your eyes.” And it was clear: even the camera crew couldn’t help but smile at the explosion of colors, textures, and aromas on the board we were preparing.
The Betevé team was fascinated by some of our most special cheeses, such as Tacat de Tòfona, with its delicate truffle note, and Blau de Jutglar, an award-winning cheese known for its creamy texture and intense flavor. They also got to see how we design the visual compositions, using techniques like the Cross and Zipper layouts, which make any board look harmonious and professional.
The outcome of that day, captured in the article and in the B de Gust program feature on Betevé, reflects exactly what we aim to convey: our boards are much more than food. They are experiences, conversations, shared joy, and small moments of celebration that turn any gathering into something special.
It is an honor that media outlets like Betevé take an interest in our work, and we are thrilled to share it with our community. At The Board Barcelona®, hosting at home is not about perfection – it’s about creating authentic, warm, and memorable moments.
