Bouquet d’Alella Syrah 2021

Red wine made of 100% Syrah. Limited production, 2000 bottles. Aged in oak barrels and settled in bottle, with a pleasant and long mouthfeel.

“Blend of Syrah from our sea and mountain vines. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes and a strict selection of grapes in the vineyard. The grapes are then refrigerated in a cold room for a few hours to obtain aromatic precursors. Then, they are destemmed and go into a long maceration with the skins, pumping-over the must to extract the coloring matter from skins, while it ferments.

It is then gently pressed and finally malolactic fermentation is carried out. Aged for 12 month in oak barrels from France and Central Europe, afterwards it settles for 18 months in bottle.”

Look: it has a dark cherry colour, blueish and violet hue.

Smell: ripe berries, balsamic aromas such as lavender and rosemary. Spices and toasted aromas from the aging process.

Taste: smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. Good and balanced acidity. Full bodied Balsamic and berries aromas. Licorice, dark chocolate. Long finish.

It goes well with red meats, stews, cured cheeses, dark chocolate.

We recommend serving it between 17ºC and 18ºC
