PLEASE READ ALL DELIVERY & COLLECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE BOOKING. BY PURCHASING FROM THE BOARD CATERING COMPANY S.L. YOU THEREBY AGREE TO OUR DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS BELOW.
SHIPPING
We cannot ship our Grazing Boxes, Small Grazing Boards, Standard Grazing Boards or Large Grazing Boards.
Our grazing boards and boxes are made fresh on the day and are not suitable for overnight courier delivery. They are extremely delicate and must to be hand-delivered on the day (or collected from our kitchen!)

When you arrive to collect your order, you will need to give your full name and order number to a Board Barcelona staff member. If someone else is picking up your order, we will need that information in advance.
Your board(s) and/or box(es) will be waiting for you in our commercial refrigerator. Everything will be packaged and ready to be transported, however, due to the delicate nature of the product, the person who picks up the order must take great care while transporting it to their final destination.
Although our boards are designed to travel well, they must stay flat and cannot be overly shaken (they are not suitable for travel on bicycles, the back of motorcycles etc.) The Board Catering Company S.L. is not responsible for your purchased products once it leaves the kitchen headquarters.

How do we deliver?
Due to the delicate nature of our products, made fresh on the day, careful hand delivery is the only viable means to provide a delivery service.
For orders that require our professional set-up services, the order will be hand delivered by a member of our team in charge of fulfilling the professional set-up and display. Please contact us if you wish to discuss delivery options.

When do you Deliver?
We offer AM (10h-14h) and PM (15h-19h) delivery slots. Once purchased, we will notify you of your assigned 2-hour delivery time slot for your order to be hand-delivered. The services are available Tuesday – Friday. Saturday delivery is based on availability, but collection is available from 10h-12h.
Orders that include our professional set-up and display services will be delivered approximately one hour prior to the event start time.
How much is delivery?
Delivery costs vary from order to order, starting at a flat rate of 15€ for orders inside the Barcelona Metropolitan area (base price increases for orders larger than 2 large boxes.)
Outside of Barcelona, the delivery cost is calculated on a case-by-case basis, based on the fees provided by our third-party delivery service.
If set-up services are required by our team, we will charge the base delivery fee + €1,45 per KM the flat rate delivery price, plus the distance from our kitchen at a rate of 1.45€/km.
We strive to be as transparent as possible; all delivery prices are available on our website in the Terms & Conditions page or at checkout. Alternatively, you can enquire about delivery prices via email or WhatsApp. A team member will be happy to assist you.
How does delivery work?
If you select AM or PM delivery, you will be given a 2-hour time slot to receive your order on the day that you choose. You will receive a message from our team once the order is out for delivery and a more precise expected delivery time. We are not in control of external factors such as traffic and travel diversions. We aim to meet delivery times but during exceptionally busy periods deliveries may take a little longer.

Do I need to be in to accept my delivery?
Yes, the customer needs to be readily available to receive the product. If the courier needs to park and pay in order to deliver, The Board Catering Company S.L. will charge back the client these costs.
What is your policy if there is no one to receive the product?
Delivery will be attempted by a team member. You must provide us with a contact number in case no one is in, so that we can agree on a solution to deliver the product safely.
Our fresh food products cannot be couriered back to HQ. THE BOARD CATERING COMPANY S.L. is not responsible for the product once left in the agreed safe place.
Due to high demand, we will not be able to wait around if no one is in to receive the product at the agreed time. The maximum waiting time for a Board Team Member is 10 minutes.
If no one is in, the package will be delivered to a neighbour. Failing that, delivery will be left in a safe place. This is because fresh food product cannot be couriered back to HQ. The Board Catering Company S.L. is not responsible for the product once left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
What if my purchase is a gift?
The above still applies.
In line with our Delivery and Collection Policy, we will reach out to the recipient via WhatsApp, email, SMS, or phone call one to two days before the scheduled delivery. This is to confirm the delivery address and ensure someone will be present to receive the gift.
While we never disclose the contents of the gift, we do require the recipient to confirm the address and availability. Once confirmation is received and a delivery time is agreed upon, we will arrange delivery through our trusted third-party service.
